I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I am currently in the band, Wyandotte Station . We are playing a wide variety of covers, from the 50s to current, as well as a few latin numbers, and should be adding some originals, soon.

I have been playing guitar since it was "nineteen sixty nine, baby!" I bill myself as a "very versitile blues musician," or lately, "a closet punk rocker," meaning I play blues, rock (the harder, the better), and experimental music (like electronica). I also play bass, and am doing some projects using Cubasis on my computer. Hopefully I will be releasing some music soon.

I am also into photography, since 1979. (the background collage is from pictures I took, recently) I have done some documentation at work using my photographs and various computer programs. At home, I do digital art and make buttons with photos on them.

I have been working in electronics for 12 years as an inspector and circuit board repair, both through hole and SMT technologies. I have used my camera and various Microsoft programs to create work instructions and other ISO documents. I AM NOW CAPABLE OF PROTYPING SMT CIRCUIT BOARDS AT MY HOME. SEE BLOG FOR DETAILS.

What kind of glasses are you?
You are Aviators!
You're classic, cool, and laid-back. People envy your natural ability to stay true to yourself. Sometimes others get the impression that you're giving them the cold shoulder... so don't be afraid to open up a little bit. You may find yourself easily annoyed, but just remember that you are surrounded by people who are dying to get to know you. Embrace it and make the most of what you have, because let's face it-- you have a lot.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Anyone intelligent that isn't a facist or communist. Musicians of all types. Any of the photographers who regularly submit Photos of the Day to the POTD sites listed on Steve's Digicams. PEOPLE I WOULD LIKE TO GET BACK IN TOUCH WITH: Any of my old friends, whom I have so shamefully negleted over the past few years (extreem apologies). Anyone in my extended family (note that Val is already in my friend list). Anyone who I have been in a band with or who I met at an open jam. The guys from the university in Iowa who lived at the North Campus Co-ops in the summer of 1979 and 1980 that I used to play vollyball with. Any of the people who used to be on the BBS scene in Livingston County, MI in the early 1990s, who may remember me as Rockin Bob (especially Matt Hall). All above are welcome to join my friend list. However, because memories fade, it might be a good idea to e-mail me, as well, to remind me who you are. (for example, I don't remember the names of any of the guys I played vollyball with) Hope to hear from you all soon.
