About Me
The name My Heart To Fear comes from verse 2 of the old song Amazing Grace. 'It was grace that taught my heart to fear'. In other words, It is His grace that teaches us to live in awe of God by seeing the truth about ourselves. Yes, His grace taught my heart to fear, but as John talks about in chapter 4, His perfect love has cast out all fear. (1 John 4:17-19) John wants to help us enjoy confidence before God. He does not want us to be paralyzed or depressed by fear of judgment. Nothing would make John happier than to produce a generation of Christians who were utterly confident that God would accept them on the judgment day.
My Heart To Fear is made up of 5 men, that are passionate about their relationship with the Lord, and the music they play, and the songs they sing reflect that. Members include brothers Trevor and Taylor Pool, Luke Brady, Brandon Vartenisian, and Dale Upright. They are doing what they absolutely love, and are passionate about. "We are just trying to be the vessels that God can use and work through," said drummer Luke Brady.
If you haven't been to a My Heart To Fear concert, it is a electrifying, fun, extremely high energy experience, with pointed lyrics and face melting riffs. "We have a blast singing about God, and involving the crowd," said front man Trevor Pool. "Because you're a Christian doesn't mean you have to be boring, and can't dance or move around!" He went on to say, "When you come to one of our shows, be ready to sing, dance, mosh, and just have an amazing time with us."
Through all of life's sorrows, and everything we all go through, God is always right there for us. He knows everything we go through and will never let us go. God gives us hope where there is no hope. He died, so we can live. He didn't die for perfect people. The Bible tells us, that God loved the world so much, that he gave his Son, so that anyone: cutters, alcoholics, cheaters, liars, anyone that asks Christ into their hearts can live eternally with Him. We are in difficult times in this world, with all of the drugs, sex, alcohol, and many other things that come at us everyday. God is here to help us through each day, and to bring us through the hard times. Will you let Him help you? His gift of eternal life is free.
