S&M Productions is starting out as a few kids wanting to help out some local bands by doing shows in and around the towns of Stillwater and Mechanicville, NY in order to have money for recording and touring. Most of the money made from the shows that we have is given to the bands that play and the venues that they are held at. EVERY show will include at least one to two bands from in and around Stillwater or Mechanicville. Our main goal here is to make it possible for some of the bands from the area to be able to play out for kids that usually don't go to shows in and around the Albany area, but also make it able for other promoters to give them shots at playing shows out of town and for kids that won't have the chance to make it out to some of the shows in Mechanicville and Stillwater that we have. I do not even care what type of music you are because I'll most likely be doing shows that fit what you are, so yes, I will be doing shows ranging from Rap/Hip Hop to Rock to Emo to Hardcore to Acoustic and Metal, I don't really care.
Also, I have some guidelines to the shows that we do have. First off, there is NO fighting allowed and you will immediately be kicked out if you ar seen fighting. I do not care if you didn't even start it or some other stupid excuse, you are gone. Also, If you fight and then come to another show and get in a fight you are NOT allowed back, no matter what. Secondly, If you get hit, pushed or whatever by someone moshing, dancing or whatever I do not want to hear about it nor are you going to complain about it. I refuse to lose venues over pointless drama.
S&M Productions is also a subsidiary of Jurassic Productions which mainly does shows quite often around the Albany area.
