Influences: The first influence is the influence of desire and need, the desire to put out great music for people to listen to, and, the need to create something that is beautiful. The second influence is relationship, our relationship to our communities, our families, our music and the magnetic force that pulls us forward because of these relationships.
Sounds Like: Jazz being made with creative minds. Sounds like honesty, the way that a glass shatters on the floor without judgement of its validity, or the way a child hits a drum (intent and purpose). We sound like many things all happening at the same time, somethings are cars travelling down the street, other things are white noise melodies being sung by birds, flag poles, children's swing sets, moanings from bedrooms, footsteps on gravel; but, ultimatley, all these elements come together to create a cohesive whole, the total is the sum of its parts.Sometimes it may sound like jazz, and yet, other times it sounds like what your peripheral vision would sound like if it was the sense of hearing...
