Yo what the bussiness be, this is Dc's number 1 son, cisco kid, I'm a Hip Hop(not rap) artist str8 outta D.C., or the DMV as we like to call it now, I stress Hip Hop/lyricist because rappers, put words together to make a rhyme, I build concepts, to fit like a puzzle, with metephors, stories, and punchlines, basically my life is my art, 3 to 4 times a week I get it in at local open mikes, and other venues, other than that, I'm busy recording new material at Listen Vision recording studio's (DC'S craziest recording facillity) I'm a hungry MC with the stiffest scense of hummility, and will collab with anyone from the area, male or female, cause when it come down to it, we all we got, I've engaged in numerous MC battles, and performed for basically every type of crowd, I am so passionate about my music that, sometimes I feal like it's my signifigant other, it's one of the only things I know will, and has been with me through anything, I also write movies, which I am in the process of doing now, I act, and do stand up as well, I know that might sound odd but it's the way GOD made me, so my life can get pretty hectic, but I love it and wouldn't trade it for anything other than some p...., just kiddin' so I'm a leave it there for now, so maybe you might see me gliddn' the city, and if you do HOLLA AT THE ONE THAT BE SPITTN' IT BEST........................................................

...................................If adversity can eventually give way to strenth, and opportunity, then DC bred rap impresario Cisco Kid just may be on the verge of a major breakthrough, both personally, and professionally! Imagine walking into a room of strangers and always getting ugly stares and an unwelcome reception, this is the exact type of hate Cisco has recieved for all his life. Adverse situations albiet, have become the very soundtrack of what he raps about. from humble beginnings hustling (D) around the Hyattsville suburbs of washington D.C. ("no one in my familly, or even closest friends knew, cause at that time, I felt like everybody was against me, and was on some beyonce, me myself, and I type shit"), to robbing an unsuspecting pedestrian at gunpoint near the silver spring metro station, "Cisco", as he was dubbed after a crazy night of intaking way too much of the intoxicating drink, was on an abusive roller coaster ride of destuction with an angry attitude to match. Born as result of a breeched pregnancy that almost resulted in his death, (The ambillicalcord somehow got wrapped around my neck"), Cisco has almost lost his life seven times scince then. ("That's how I know, I'm mean to be here, I'm here for a reason"), His mother once called the police on him, causing him to skip town, as he recalls, "rap became my savior", said the confident poet in an unapologetic tone, wearing his signature skull cap and plain black t-shirt. He started out playing in a GO-GO band called "parabellum" then evenually moved on. Go-Go bands usually take go-go beats and put then to radio tunes. Cisco had the desire to mold and create original melodies,("Even though I evetually moved on , I will always have an insane love for go-go music"), "Rhyming was the creative outlet that kept me writting, thinking and wanting to strive for success, His drug dealing, drug use, ("I was smoking boat real heavy back then"), : dodging bullets, ("single handedly the scariest day of my life"), thank GOD for a praying mother and quick feet LOL, getting "burned", a violent attack on a white women, ("she called me a nigger and I lost it, I chocked her then threw her down a small flight of stairs"), and his brother being shot 3 times in the chest and killed instantly, loosing everything and becoming homeless, ("Thank GOD for that nigga kyru letting me stay with him, cause my shit was done"), Led him to a mentall breakdown and became a major pivotal point in his life. However, prior to the breakdown occuring, Cisco joined the U.S. marine corps. "The millitary didn't work out 4 me, I'm too much of a free spirit, and learned through that expirience that the government is on some bullshit, but it grew me up fast and gave me "life-long tools". He was eventually discharged while in basic training, and returned home to much the same, As a result of the breakdown, that painfull expirience ironically, became the best thing that's ever happened to him ("GOD had to strip me of my own bullshit and mentally start me over to show me what he wanted me to do"), while in basic training, he had a chance to make a journal full of rhymes and resolutions. I am not a one dimensional person, so for me discovering the sugar hill gang, tupac, boogie down productions, jay z, and eminem ("My favorites"), biggie smalls, and nas, was a revelation, I was like: you mean i can come from a background like mine and rise to billionaire status? His debut CD titled, "Lyricists' Last Stand" which is due out 2008, is filled with stories of reality and change, which will be followed by the soon to be "CLASSIC" cd, "10 dimes 4 10 rhymes, with his creative genius, he plans to mix his rap skills with comedy as displayed on "10 dimes 4 10 rhymes, "I can make anyone laugh", Comedians have become actors, and actors have become rappers and singers. "Talent is talent, and I feal I can do some GOOD things, I've already survived more than most.
