Travis Sorrells, Austin Harper, and Zeth Griffin ended their long going musical haitus early January of 08'. With a set list of new material and a
ton of new styles and techniques under their belts, Flying South was created.
Flying South is a southern experimental band with songs ranging from
country to jazz and everything in between. The three musicians have decided to hold nothing back, and to force themselves into
pushing the envelope in everything they play. With the music scene going downhill fast, they want to bring back a true sense of musicianship in every
one of their songs, making sure that each song brings something new to the table, something they haven't done before.
UPDATE 9/27/09kyle Harper joined as a rhythm guitarist early September. We are currently writing new material and taking a break from gigs for a few months. If you have a gig you want us to play at, be sure to still ask cause chances are, we'll still play it. Hope to see you crazy mother fuckers come November!!!
