NEW CD BY SANDRA HALL 'RED BONE WOMAN'.Sandra Hall born and reared in Atlanta, Georgia. Sandra grew up in a little community called Oakland City where her grandfather was the Pastor of Whitesville Baptist Church.At age four Sandra and her sister Barbara Hall (who was five) started singing gospel while their grandmother played the piano. Their mother was on the road singing gospel.
At age twelve and thirteen years old Sandra and Barbara started singing at a club in Atlanta called Club 400. They worked that club until they each graduated from high school. Sandra was dancing, singing, going to nursing school and was now a single mom. It was a juggle, but listening to her grandfather’s sermons every Sunday, she knew everything was going to be alright after while.And it was alright. Sandra formed a group called The Exotics. People thought they were the Supremes, they were that good. They were opening acts for Otis Redding, Joe Tex, Johnny Taylor, B.B. King, Jerry Butler, the Temptations, and the O’Jays at the legendary Royal Peacock on Auburn Avenue in Atlanta.Those were Sandra’s wonder years and they were the Dream girls. She then went solo, and she found herself in the Blues. Working her way all over the world from city to city and country to country, enjoying people where ever she went and having fun along the way. Some of the places and people she had fun sharing the stage with were Albert King., Jr. Wells, Bo Diddly, Eddie Clearwater, Carey Bell, John Lee Hooker, Sonny Rhodes, Lucky Peterson , James Peterson, Etta James, Bobby Rush, Nappy Brown, Trudy Lynn, Kenny Neal, Rufus Thomas, just to name a few.
Sandra has performed all over the country—Niagara Falls, New York, Boston, Connecticut, Virginia, Chicago, Tennessee, Indiana, Iowa, Pennsylvania, Texas, Canada, Blues Festivals all over the world—London, Sweden, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, France, Holland, Germany, and Russia.Sandra enjoys the blues and she loves for people to have a grand time. If you’re not having fun at her shows then you came to the wrong place. Sandra’s goal is to continue to keep the blues alive as long as the wonderful God she knows keeps her breathing.Sandra wants her audiences to know that she loves you and to “Let The Good Time Roll.â€
