THE STANDARDSThe Standards formed nearly a year ago (June 2007) and have launched themsleves into the Bangkok music scene. Ayu, Mc and Nit make up the Thai half of the band then Matt Smith and Paul Smith complete the British side. English roots, busy streets and booze have all influenced The Standards sound, which is somewhere between Kasabian,Blur and Chas n Dave! The 29th Feb will mark the release of their first single, "Well Well Well" that features the songs :- 1. The Proposition 2. Well What Do You Know? 3. Jimmy is a Live Wire. The Standards Live @ On The Waterfront Singapore, 18th-20th April 2008.Thanks to Ivanified for Singapore photos. They're all brilliant!!

About 9.20 tonight The Standards' song was played for the first time on 90.5 Hz Nation Radio by DJ Eak Passakorn.
