FORTHCOMING
The first part of 2009 brings about several DJ residencies for Adaptation's Tom Conrad at Escucha, Minus One and Gatecrasher (Nottingham), Lovebug (Derby) and a one off event at Gatecrasher (Birmingham).
There will be some notable releases in 2009, first off being D-Reflection's 'Happiness is Taking Over' remixes from Haldo and Flashbaxx. This is already gaining early DJ support from some of house music's most legendary names - Tony Humphries, Roger Sanchez and Robert Owens and also ATFC, Osunlade, Nick Holder, Jay Tripwire, Andy Ward, Jay West, Abicah Soul and Deep Josh..
Following that is Sueno Soul's 'What You Want' with top remixes from Richard Earnshaw, Vernon & Da Costa, Vincent Kwok and Tom Conrad. An E.P from Argentina's top jackin house producer Jay West, singles from Tom Conrad and Haldo plus a various artists E.P and a lounge/chillout compilation are also on the agenda. This year is expected to put the brand firmly on the house music map.
LABEL
Adaptation Music hopes to bring something different to the house music scene by combining various genres and styles in order to make people aware of a greater variety of music and hidden talent. The aim is to form a reputable brand which focuses on quality and consistency. The project will commence in late 2008. More details to follow...
RELEASES
Adaptation Music's debut release is available for download at www.traxsource.com amongst several other stores with a string remix package consisting of mixes by Julius Papp, UPZ, D-Reflection, Cassady Locke and Divided Souls. DJ support from Richard Earnshaw, Andy Ward, Vincent Kwok, DJ MFR, Julius Papp amongst others.
EVENTS
Adaptation Music will be working with Nottingham's most classy and sophisticated venue Escucha to host monthly events, the first of which was on May 17th 2008 with Schmoov and Dom Navarra...
RADIO
Adaptation Music currently features every other Saturday from 7-9 pm UK time on SS Radio (www.ssradiouk.com) hosted by Tom Conrad with his guests - Vincent Kwok (San Francisco) and D-Reflection (Netherlands) - listen again and podcast facility available :)
