After coincidentally meeting in the city of Sydney The band began their musical mastermind as a young childhood 4 piece, then known as Toy Division. After learning their instruments, which took a good decade or so & coincided with a trip to india to visit the Dalai lama, experimenting with mind bending drugs & pyschedelica, the band returned to Sydney as The Villainares. After many lonely sessions playing to the haunting ruined walls of White Bay, The band hit the gig scene.
