The Optic Nerve began as a Garage/Psych/Folk band on New York's Lower East Side in 1984. The tracks on this profile as well as the photos above are from a 10/5/85 show at a peformance space/art gallery which was known as Neither Nor. The photos below are from the band's earliest inception in '84 at a club named The Crypt when they were known as the Bohemian Bedrocks and featured two members of the Fuzztones. The others are from an acoustic gig with friends in '87 at a club named The Strip, calling themselves The Tumbleweeds.
