My name is Adam. I just moved in with a friend of mine so that I may someday have a chance at having a life. I love traveling. I just don't get much opportunity to do so. At some point in my life I hope to take a backpacking trip through Europe. Cooking is one of my passions, and I hope to open up my own restaurant one day. I already started a menu, and I know exactly how I want the layout to be. I consider myself to be hopelessly romantic, but not in the good way everyone else does because they have seen one too many cheesy romantic movies. I do believe in true love, but, I believe in it in a way that no one else seems to understand. I've always wanted to go to Rome. Renaissance era art has always fascinated me. I am a spiritual person, but I abhor organized religion. I love people but hate gatherings. I'm very shy, but I open up easily enough with attention. You just have to make the first move. I love being in love, but I don't think I'm particularly good at actually BEING in love. I am awful when it comes to meeting new people. I hem and I haw, and I eventually make people think I'm not worth the effort. I am, if you ever want someone who will care for you forever. I Chased Amy for a long time. In a lot of ways, I still am chasing her. But she gave up on me a long time ago. I spend the majority of my time these days on my new laptop. I say new, but this thing is getting pretty beaten up, pretty fast. Normally this would be where I would call myself a nerd, but seeing as it has recently become fashionable to be nerdy, fuck that. I'm more of an intellectual than a nerd anyway. My interests are many but my loves are few. I don't like to put myself into any specific group. I listen to Emo music. I also listen to alternative, goth, metal, punk, classical, electronic, etc. So never assume that my musical preferences define who I am. I've always loved music, and I've always wanted to learn to play an instrument. I'd love to get my hands on a drum set, since I like to pretend that I have talent. I've never been able to be what I want to be. I'm too afraid of the criticism of my family and friends to do things like dying my hair green, or wearing makeup. Maybe someday I'll grow some balls, but until then I'll have to keep my inner punk-goth-weirdo in the closet. I really am my own person. I just tend to ramble a lot.
