Trashy Vamps

The south is known for a lot of things, both good and bad. The south also holds mystery and macabre within it. Down in the swamps of Georgia brews a musical act that is sure to draw attention: Trashy Vamps. What started out as a project by frontman Derek Obscura soon turned into something more. Joined by drummer and friend Andrew McNasty, the two look to create something different that isn’t out on the scene right now. Trashy Vamps blends glam with horror that proves to be one unique combination. Trashy Vamps sound is raw, sleazy, and catchy and the group has gained a small, but loyal following already. With songs about death, monsters and horror in general, how can you not be intrigued? There are rough demo tracks available but the group is looking to release a better quality demo later in the year. The duo are also looking to complete a lineup and if not; find session members to be able to play live shows throughout 2008. With an album worth of songs written and plenty more ideas in mind, Trashy Vamps are ready to rock n’ roll.
