Dj Stoney's biography:the year of 1984 right before entering high school is when Dj Stoney first touched 2 pieces of vinyl and started
teaching him self how to blend music together.House music & disco was the chosen forms of music by many djs in chicago and since Stoney was born and raised in
chicago, iL it was only natural that he would develope a love affair with house and disco.after hours and hours of practicing with his older brother and other aspiring djs on the south side of chicago
stoney started developing a skill for matching beats and quickly learning the structure of various forms of dance music and how to marry
many productions together seemlessly.He knew after his first taste of djing for a live audience at one of his high school dances that a career
in the entertainment industry in some shape or form had to be a reality. The feeling of making people happy thru music
was intoxicating so he started concentrating on creating original music to play in his dj sets. After 4 years of djing at several
neighborhood function and hosting parties himself stoney decided to go study at The Art institute of fort lauderdale to major in
Music & video Business in 1989, after only 2 semesters and feeling disenchanted with the behind the scenes elements of the music
industry stoney decided to return back to chicago.while working various jobs from security to customer service over the next 7 years stoney managed to keep intouch with his musical roots.
In the year of 1996 he decide to follow his mother's foot steps and start hosting events for the gay & lesbian community.
Stoney first event was called Hot Sauce at Numbers on devon and clark (currently JackHammer) after testing the waters out on thursday nites he felt that he was perfect for nightclub promotions, since djing and club promotions goes hand in hand he created Zeret Music Entertainment a mobile dj & nightclub promotions company.under dj stoney's direction Zeret Music Entertainment have hosted many events in the chicago's LGBT community & Heterosexual community (under the name Deep Connections). ZM's Hip Hop & Reggae party Ear Rotic created in 2003 - 2008since adding Hip Hop, Reggae & R&B to his dj sets in 2001 Stoney has moved thousands on the dance floor for many nightclubs in chicago including DRAGON ROOM, TINI MARTINI, DOOR 21, HIDDEN LOUNGE, COTTON CLUB, BIOLOGY BAR,
CLUB REUNION, RED LINE, CIRCUS NIGHTCLUB, CROCODILE LOUNGE, COZMOS, GENERATOR, WET, CLUB 720 to name a fewas of Nov 2008 he's currently a resident dj at CIRCUIT, 2506 & THE PROP HOUSE
