I like ducks, grammar, and doing the Time Warp. It's just a jump to the left, and a step to the right. With your hands on your hips, you lock your knees in tight. But it's the pelvic thrust, that'll drive you insane.
I also like video games, music videos, psychoanalytic theory, astronomy, metaphysics, rock 'n' roll history, surrealist and modern art (e.g. Dali, Parkes, Warhol, Lichtenstein, Kahlo), being with my Kevin, and sleeping. Yes, sleeping. Sleeping is good.
I'd like to meet:
Whoever cares to take the time, but most especially Brian May, J.K. Rowling, Gary Oldman, Alice Cooper, David Bowie, Iggy Pop, Tim Curry, Jimmy Page or Robert Plant, Dee Snider, Roger Daltrey or Pete Townsend, and/or Slash because I have so many questions, and they seem like interesting people to hang out with.
If Douglas Adams, Keith Moon, John Lennon, or Lewis Carrol were still alive, they'd be on the list, too.

Music:
These are some bands/artists I enjoy (in no particular order...well...actually it's alphabetical), and I, personally, find them to be spectacular. I'll admit there's probably room for contention, I'd just rather not hear it.
Aerosmith Alice Cooper Blondie Blue Oyster Cult Bob Dylan Cinderella David Bowie Def Leppard Dio Dokken Dragonforce Guns ‘N Roses Heart Iggy and the Stooges Iron Maiden Janis Joplin Joan Jet and the Blackhearts KISS Led Zeppelin Lordi
Megadeth Metallica Motley Crue Nickelback Oingo Boingo Paul Simon Queen Quiet Riot Spinal Tap Styx T. Rex Talking Heads The Beatles The Clash The Rolling Stones The Velvet Underground The Who Twisted Sister Van Halen Velvet Revolver
It's merely a sample, of course. A general smattering. Great guitar, nice beat, decent vocals, meaningful lyrics (especially ones riddle with innuendo), something that assaults your senses, a little experience, throw in some eyeliner, and I'm probably there.
However, I do tend to stick to the rock area. Classic metal, early speed metal, punk, glam, alternative, and prog-rock mostly, with just a touch of folk-rock and The Grateful Dead mixed in for good measure.

Albums
I'm totally into concept albums. Really, really into concept albums. It's that theatric side of me, I suppose. I much prefer albums to singles because there's this kind of cohesiveness to all the songs. They seem to go together. It's a cool sensation. That said... my favorite albums (*concept and otherwise).Alice Cooper

Movies:
I watch a lot of movies. I mean....a lot. So there's only one easy way to do this.
Favorite Directors: Tim Burton, Jim Henson, Quentin Tarantino, Tony and Ridley Scott, Ken Russel, Luc Besson, and John Waters
Favorite Actors:Gary Oldman, Johnny Depp, Alan Rickman, David Thewlis, David Bowie, Tim Curry, Malcolm McDowell, Patrick Stewart, Dustin Hoffman, Jack Nicholson, Anthony Hopkins, Chistopher Walken, Michael Caine, Vincent Price, Ian McKellan, Bill Nighy, Hugh Jackman, Christian Bale, Helena Bonham Carter, Emma Thompson, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, Martin Freeman, Hugh Laurie, and Paul Nicholas
So....take any combination, and I'll probably like it on some level, even if I have to fast forward through scenes to get to the good parts.
In this, I'm terribly fond of horror/suspense, comedy, certain musicals, rock operas, art-house, comic book movies, and sci-fi.
My favorites list is in a perpetual state of change, but right now...The Man Who Fell to Earth
Tommy
Labyrinth
Strangeland
The Fifth Element
This is Spinal Tap
The Rocky Horror Picture Show
Leon
Benny and Joon
Cry Baby
Life of Brian
Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix
The Phantom of the Opera
Bram Stoker's Dracula
Shaun of the Dead
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
Wayne's World
Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
Television:
Cartoons!!!!! I'm addicted. Family Guy to Spongebob Squarepants to The Simpsons. I watch them all. Anime, as well (though I'm not as avid a fan).
I like Mythbusters and Scrubs, too. Yay explosions and hospital drama satire!
Then I sometimes just leave it on VH1 Classic and watch whatever happens to be on.
Oh, and I'm ashamed to admit it, but I tend to watch Rock of Love and Gene Simmons's Family Jewels on occasion. Brett Michaels's *ahem* insights as to his particular fondness for one girl over another are rather amusing. Gene's just hilarious.
Video Games
I play video games like a fiend, and I'm a Nintendo "fanboy" (as the terminology goes. Guitar Hero is, of course, up there with my favorites ( ).I like pretty much any FPS, RPG or action game with the Zelda series being my favorite so far. Any of the Mario Games (i.e. Land, Party, Kart) are most definitly cool with me (my Super Smash Brother mains are Kirby, Zero Suit Samus, Sonic, and Meta Knight). Ooh, and I recently got really into Fire Emblem. I also used to play Sonic the hedgehog and Mortal Kombat on my old Sega Genesis in the old days. Good times, good times.

Heroes:
I didn't know what to do here, really. My older sister made me one of her heroes, and I was a little surprised. What have I ever done to be hero worthy? (She sent me a message that cleared that up) I'm not complaining, but it puts a new spin on the definition doesn't it?
My sister is amazing. Crazy as hell like the rest of us, but absolutely amazing.
My grandmother has seen some shit in her life, but managed to come through it all. She's part of what I hope to be someday.
My cousin Brian is in the military. I'm a "make love, not war" kind of gal, but you've got to respect people who are willing to risk their life for what they believe in.
I've never met Brian May, lead guitarist for Queen, but he totally rocks. Astrophysicist and rock star? He's the epitome of a renaissance man and proof that art and science can live together peacefully in the same body.
Dee Snider and the boys Twisted Sister proved that you can rock out hard core, and be sober and clean while you do it. He also stood up for rock 'n' roll in the PMRC debacle of the mid 80's. And he wrote a horror movie, which I think is just generally kickass.
Tommy Walker. The protagonist of Tommy. That deaf, dumb and blind kid sure plays a mean pinball, and he had a message for all of us.
A little part of me died with Severus Snape.
Alice Cooper seems like a freak, but he's not so much. He was out there doing things no one else was doing at the time and didn't give a damn what people thought of it. That takes chutzpah. He's also a philanthropist, a loving father and husband, and (most inspiring) a devout Christian. After reading his book, I've also concluded that he has got to be one of the coolest guys on the planet.
