About Me

..
Born and Raised in Toronto, Canada, Nadeem Mughal AKA, “MUGHAL” was born into music. Mughal’s Father a talented musician, was formally introduced to Mughal’s mother through a concert in which his father was performing in. Through music, Mughal’s parents had met then latter married and had a son, an only child whom they named Nadeem J. Mughal.

His father, Muhummad Javed Mughal, musician and sound engeenier, taught his Son the foundation of music psychology and sound design. Mughal’s father, Mr. Muhammad taught, weather it be Anger, Love, Sadness, it is the emotions and feelings within the elements of a song that makes a great record. He taught his son the importance of making the listener “feel the music” an eastern highly concentrated and emphasized philosophy. This along with Mughal’s core values of growing up as a dedicated Muslim within an orthodox Muslim household, shaped him to be the man he is today.

He grew up producing music at the youthful age of only 10. While beginning to learn the elements of musical production and beat experimentation, Mughal’s main musical influence came from Hip-Hop, R&B and Eastern Music. His major musical inspirations came from artists like, Prince, Morris Day and The Time, Eric B. and Rakim, Brand Nubian, 2Pac, PE, Sade, Jodeci, Ice-T, New Edition, Micheal Jackson, Roger, African Bambata and the Zulu Nation, Marvin Gaye, Chico Debarge (after jail), Nusrat Fati Ali Khan, Chamkila and more. At the age of 16 Mughal began remixing East Indian songs combined with hip-hop or R&B commercial music. This was an expression of his identity of growing up as a born and raised Toronto, Canadian, but yet still maintaining his proud Pakistani roots and heritage. After accomplishing two solid underground albums within the bhangra remix market, Mughal pursued his passion in making pure original tracks from the “ground up”. Remixing did not allow him to fully express his true musical ability, which eventually led to the now established Toronto based production house and entertainment firm, Mughal Entertainment Group, Inc.

During the development of his company, he also attended Toronto’s, Ryerson University for Internet Technologies. While attending University and developing his organization simultaneously, Mughal educated himself in areas of Consumer Psychology, Marketing and Business Management. All elements catering to the entrepreneur in Mughal.

His company has now developed into making Mughal a well-known name amongst music executives worldwide. With a powerful Toronto based team backing up all business related affairs, his organization, Mughal Entertainment Group, Inc ranges from doing musical production works within publishing to major record companies, Film/T.V. and local artists. The company has now become a successful corporation with sister companies such as, VoxTone Communications (patent pending product line), Mughal Music Publishing, New Wave Marketing & Advertising, Mughal Productions, Mughal Sound Studios (DSF), Mughal Media Replication, and soon to be launched high-end café chain, Chai Café and Lounge. In addition to all this, Mughal is haled as one of Toronto’s rare music producers who records, composes, arranges, mixes and masters all of his own works at high commercial level standards. His Production Company has grown and is still rapidly growing each day in becoming one of the most respected entertainment companies in Toronto, Canada.
