About Me

I am a figure skater and ice dancer. I am a seasoned traveler. I am a chemist. I am a writer. I have finally felt the call to write a blog. Since I started on the road for work 4 years ago, too many interesting things have happened to not start writing. I work for a great company that allows these adventures and supports my skating, so expect a daily dose of cheer and thoughts for you to enjoy. For those who want to tell about your business opportunity or your product, I'm not interested. I'm a rotten salesperson, and skating sucks up most of my disposable income. However, I am starting a business to help organize fundraising efforts for non-profit organizations and to help skaters raise funds so finances don't stop their skating careers. I don't believe in spam or trying to financially benefit from MySpace, so just send me a message if you want to hear more or have a non-profit organization who is having trouble with the typical fundraising opportunities. Note: All pictures/videos/writings are mine. I created them. Please ask permission prior to sharing.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who skates, travels, or has interesting stories to tell. Please participate; this is, after all, _social_ networking.

Minneapolis Dance Weekend, Part II

Even with the late bedtime, I woke up at my usual sleep-in time, 6:30 am, 90 minutes before the alarm.  Every cell in my body was screaming to stay in bed, so I continued to snooze and watch the ...

Serendipity

I do apologize for "disappearing," but I discovered, when I came home from New Jersey, that I had fallen behind in a number of arenas.  First, I had 1100 unread e-mails!  Then I had 500 e-ma...
