Harmonica Henry & The Blues Rockers

JAN "HARMONICA HENRY" SJÖSTRÖM has, with his powerful harp that places him on highest international level, been a driving force on the Swedish blues scene since the 70:s. He has worked together with American blues artists such as Snooky Pryor, Lousiana Red, Sunnyland Slim and Sandra Hall. Jan Sjöström, and Hank Jansson have acquired a well established position in the Swedish blues elite, mainly trough their many years in the Chicago Express, a band characterised as a band of world class. The story of the BLUES ROCKERS started in 1975 when Sjöström and Hank Jansson formed the group along with Anders Gutke well known from Telge Blues. HANK JANSSON has, to a great deal, the same background as Jan Sjöström and with his authentic sound he uniquely combines a genuine 50:s style rhythm and lead guitar with power, intensity and sensibility. Together with Tommy Moberg, Mats Äleklint and Fredrik Von Werder, all three well experienced Blues muicians known from other great Blues & Roots Bands such as "Knock-Out Greg & Blueweather", Trickbag, The Beat from Palookaville etc, they form an incredible Blues act with a very authentic sound!
