Blue Hawgs

Blue Hawgs is a "powerband" located above the arctic circle. We`re playing various styles of blues, but mostly express our messages "the southern/ Texas-style"- way. We`re influenced mainly by great artists, such as the ZZ-Top, Stevie Ray Vaughan and so on, but also get huge inspiration from our hard weatherconditions and gouvernmental tax-pressure. We play at any event, small clubs, bluesfestivals, motorcyclerallies, - what ever. As long as we can come together and perform, ev`ry setting is right!The band was started in 1999, by Kenneth, Georg and Jim, under the name of "Tinnitus". We soon realized that we had to change the name, `cause gigs didn`t appear since people thaught it ment that we played real loud. In 2001 Georg left us, and we got Aage in to do magic with his guitars. We`re developing as a band all the time, and by listening to all kinds of music, we automaticly includes elements from black metal to folk-rock in our music. We still haven`t toured the U.S.A., but as soon as we get an request, we`re on our way! Until then you better watch out, we could suddenly be playin` in a place near YOU!
