5150 HOLD is a rap group from Las Vegas Nevada. The members include Maniac (real name unknown) and Panic (real name unknown). The two have been writing and recording together and separately since 1998 but in late 2007 decided to merge their talents to officially form 5150 Hold.
Their songwriting, which is all done collaboratively, seemingly started out with a dark or morbid sensibility. Ever evolving they've developed their own distinct style often tending toward the epic, melancholy, and gonzo.
