About Me

I'm just Flash. I like having fun with good people. I enjoy my weekly parties that keep me sane. I enjoy going to the bars with my friends. I like drinking, playing Texas Hold'Em (but that doesn't mean I'm good), Danny B's, goin' to the moooovies, off-roading, watching movies, shooting pool, dancing, playing music of any kind, late night laugh-a-thons at Denny's... I'm up for just about anything. I graduated from Marywood University (class of '06) with my bachelor's in Music Therapy. I spent 9 months at an internship site called the Queens Center for Progess in Bellerose, NY working with Adults with Developmental Disabilities. Don't worry: I won't get offended if you have no idea what music therapy is. I can explain rather well. Back at Marywood to start working on Grad School, and I passed my MT-BC exams!!! I drive a Bronco named Betty. Yes, Wilma has been retired... she was a fine gal. But Betty: she's got a chunk of my heart already. The only chick for me. I have 2 dogs, which are currently living with my parents in NY for the time being. I've got an amazing group of best friends scattered about the US (B-lo, FL, and PA): I'd be lost without em: they're my rock. "Wow, that was so cheesy I could put it on a cracker and eat it!". Oh yeah, we have a quote book... and let me just tell you: these quotes are amazing. Anyway, I'll leave off where I started: I'm just Flash.

i don't fuckin care. i've already met a buncha chill people, learned some new words that i didn't know existed. i don't need to spread my musical horizons, so if you're in a band, or promoting your band, and i've never heard of your band, fuck off and die. please. like: break your demo CD in half and slit your wrists with it, die. =o) Anyone else, really, that wants to say hi... go for it. Oh yeah, and I'd like to meet this dude:

*I'm a one-eyed, one-horned flying puprple people eater!!* I'm a big fan of shit like Princess Bride, A League of Their Own, Purple People Eater, The Never-Ending Story, shit like that. Haven't been to the movies in forever, but I was a big fan of Identity. And i was prrreeettty upset when Dreamcatcher came out, but the book was pretty weird too, so whatever. I'll watch just about anything as well (are you noticing yet that i really don't have an opinion on anything?) Big fan of Kevin Smith, but I think he's going downhill.. Horror's always a good thing, comedy's a yes. Sappy-girlie chick flicks are a must when having a girls' night in (which, recently, guys are invited to...)

Books:

I read anything you put in front of me-- I've been a book worm my whole life. I grew up on R.L. Stein, and have since graduated to psychology books, philosophy books, smut, murder mysteries, and thrillers. Yes, I read the Harry Potter books. I read because it gives me a temporary escape into another person's life... call it escapism if you want to, but most of the time other people's lives are way more interesting than my own.
