The New Jersey Theatre Alliance is a consortium of professional, not-for-profit theatres in New Jersey and holds the unique position of being the only statewide arts service organization focused solely on professional theatre. Founded in 1981, the Alliance membership now totals 24 member theatres and 13 associates.We are currently celebrating 26 years of success in promoting growth and attendance at professional theatres throughout the Garden State and nurturing a sense of community amongst those theatres.Our successes have earned the Alliance the Award of Excellence as a Distinguished Arts Organization for an unprecedented 17 years. NJ State Arts Budget to be slashed by 30%!!!
