The members of Octopus are: Cory Jennings: Bass guitar, backing lead guitar on Indian Song.. Mike Pitzer: Lead vocals.. Dave Taylor: Drums.. Dave Sprecker: Lead guitar..All music by Cory Jennings.. All lyrics by Mike Pitzer..After the break up of my previous band"JAW", which was an alternative hard rock band.I wanted to bring the bass guitar to the forefront in a less traditional way. "Storm" was the first song I wrote for the project. To my surprize, I found 3 other musicians who were interested in the direction I wanted to take. Dave Taylor, a jass drummer, and a punk rock fan. Dave Sprecher, a heavy metal guitar player, and Mike Pitzer, a huge "Cure" fan, and a late 80's new wave singer, all brought their own styles to the table. My graditude goes out to Dave Sprecher, one of the finest lead players I've know. Mike Pitzer,my buddy to this day. Dave Taylor, for making us a great rhythm section. The band slowly assembled in 1996, until it came to an end in 1999 because of babies being born, and moves out of state Thanx for stopping and enjoy the music........Cory................
