About Me

DJ'ing since 1988 - 20 years experience on the dex. Currently play Breaks, Drum & Bass, Old Skool, '94 Jungle, Reggae, Hip Hop/Turntablism, hardcore-breaks and rave-breaks.20 years ago teamed up with local rapper Johnny B in the hip hop scene DJ'ing for local rappers when the underdogs was forming under the wing of DJ Jaffa. After that I teamed up with DJ Keltech and releasing rave mixtapes into the rare few independent record shops around 1993 at the height of the UK rave scene. Eventually I ended up working at Studio 22 (Cardiff - UK) as recording engineer and DJ tutor.Bored of the local scene, I decided to try and push the musical frontiers of drum and bass further afield as I moved to Africa and shipped my turntables and record collection over with me, to see how they would take these tribal drum beats.Apart from various local stuff, I was the prime time DJ on Gabz FM radio Saturday nights (Botswana, Africa), Back 2 Bass promoter/DJ (Botswana, Africa). After I finished sowing the drum and bass seeds in Africa, I went on to the Caribbean, only to find that Puerto Rico had a thriving drum and bass scene already! There I played on the legendary Through the Eyes Tour at Arecibo airport field/strip, Club Lazer, Machu Pichu and Club Ambis in San Juan, (Puerto Rico - Caribbean).Have played out in Cardiffs welsh club and emporium and have a weekly slot on interFACE pirate radio Sundays 10pm - 12am GMT. (previously known as FACE FM, an FM pirate station based in London).
