Influences: Flavio admits to being shamelessly inspired by The Beatles, The Cure, The Beach Boys, Depeche Mode and maybe a little bit of Gregorian Chant. His work as a songwriter and composer is featured throughout his many projects and has garnered him television licensing agreements with the series "The Chris Isaak Show", "Higher Ground", and “The Making Of Snowalkerâ€. Flavio’s preference for working in collaboration has resulted in a wealth of original work, from Electronic Pop-Rock to Emo to Jazz.

Fresh, innovative artists; loads of collaboration and dialogue; the contributions of some of Canada’s most stellar musicians; and “outside the box†production techniques — they all come together to create authentic, accessible music. Flavio feels fortunate to be able to work with unique artists to help them craft their vision and sound, and pull from a talent pool of individuals like drummer Randy Cooke, cellist Teimour Sadykhov and pianist Julian Fauth to bring that vision to fruition.In one of the few instances when being obsessive-compulsive is considered a good thing...M2 productions are characterized by a tremendous attention to detail: like the haunting spoken prose over top of Fake Reality’s Emo guitar on their song "Blow"; the other-worldly synthesizer strains that run through EPX’s “See the Dark†or the meshing of 60’s drum sounds with modern loops on Sonic’s version of The Beatles’ “Rainâ€. Flavio weaves freely through different musical styles, but the common thread is his creation of original, listener-friendly music.
