â„¢CeCe Hollis was born on December 28, 1991 (age 17 now) as Caprice Hollis in Mansura, La. She is currently in Nebraska and Louisiana off and on. She reps a good life for all Indian/African-American teenagers. She is known to many as a hard-working and serious artist but a fun loving person also. She is a singer, songwriter, and actress on the rise. She has had many performances, including with her group Caution. (Dance & singing group). Caution got their start performing at weddings and dances and parties. They got their name at a high school dance from wearing caution tape on their clothing as a sure signed to be recognized in the crowd. :) As of now, they are not broken up but all make their own music, but still dance together. They perform together whenever requested by others.Starting to write as a child at the age of 5, CeCe began writing songs when she was 9. She has 200 of her own lyrics written so far. She was involved with a lot of productions at her school and still is. Most were musicals. At the age of 13 she decided she wanted her acting and music talents to reach out more professionally. She would record songs by other artists for fun and her first was "Reflection" by Christina Aguilera. Then in October 2007 she began teaching herself to play acoustic guitar and piano. She played the violin all throughout elementary also and had the leads in all of her school choirs.She also records with other groups around the area. "I like a huge variety of different artists so I like to experiment with other people and styles," she says. "I have no specific genre that I like." She does not have a favorite as you've read, but she really likes a mix of pop and r&b styles.Adding to her life as a normal teenage girl, she loves animals and tries to be with them as much as possible. She owns a Cocker Spaniel named Luckie Charms (Luckie for short) and a Rat Terrier named Tia and volunteers with horses, since she's grown up around them and is in love with them. She is on the verge of writing a new song always, and as her other talent, writing screenplays. Keep on the lookout for this talented Louisiana native!
