I tend not to accept random friend requests from bands, unless they are either from Adelaide or I like their music. I always look at their profiles, but if they're not from Adelaide I generally deny them. Unless they're the kind of band that makes me want to fight someone.
I work with my Dad and his music management company… If you are one of those bands that desperately needs my attention, then click here and add that site.
I used to be the girl on the door at The Cavern every Thursday night with the live bands. There are some crazy people that come through that door. I was almost impaled on an old guy’s thumbnail once. That was an experience.
My real job is at Stellar in Adelaide on North Terrace. I answer phones. High five.
It sucks. So I might get a better job. Depends. I need enough money to see Killswitch in March 2008.
I'm a qualified personal trainer, but meh. I also run after-school programs at Primary Schools for the Australian Sports Commission when I'm not working.
I don't know why so many good bands play at Fowler's. I hate Fowler's.
I have an incredible boyfriend... Words could not even begin to describe how much I love him. He makes me smile even without meaning to. And I think he is only person in the world who has ever managed to forget his own name. Yep. That's Scotty :P
But really... There is nothing I could say that could do justice to the way I want to be able to tell him how I feel about him. End of sickening paragraph. I apologise.
My friends are my entire world, and they had better damn well know it. Thank you all so much for every time you put a smile on my face - the moments I look back on are the ones that you guys made memorable. I love you so much.
And that's all.
Meagan has decided I'm probably the clumsiest person she knows... And I think that looking back on all of this... She's probably right. I fell over at school for no reason more often than anybody else that I ever saw. So she made a list of all the stupidest things I ever did.
I was walking through the creek with her, and fell. As I fell, I grabbed Meagan, and pulled her down with me.
I ran full-on straight into her during a game of basketball... When there was nobody else around me.
I walked into the exit scanners in the library, when there was obviously enough room to go through either one of two doors.
I was running top speed towards a classroom yelling at all of my friends to come and see something, and the door was closed. They were watching me through the window at the top of the door. Just as I got there, I rolled my ankle and fell. So They saw me running towards them, and then I disappeared. When they opened the door, I was lying inside the door frame with blood pouring down my knee, unable to move my ankle.
On my way to a class one day, we were walking through the playground. I managed to attract everybody's attention as I was about to pull of an incredible stunt which involved running, jumping, and grabbing onto some bars. I ran, jumped, and missed the bars.
A YEEEEEAR... Don't ask.
We watched two people smack each other in the head during a play rehearsal in Year 8, and one of those people ended up bleeding. Apparently we were the only ones who saw it happen, and as such were sent outside, still laughing.
Mr. Rosier used to throw textas at our heads.
We witnessed a bird flying top speed into a window in the AV Room... Blood and feathers went everywhere. Possibly the most disgusting thing I have ever seen.
We stuck all manner of crazy things into the ear of a sleeping person at one of Meagan's birthday parties. God I hope that girl doesn't remember that...
We also used to play eraser hockey in Mr Whenan's Science class.
At one point, I was running late for a lesson. I was carrying my school bag and PE bag, and sprinting through the grounds. Then, for absolutely no reason at all, I fell over. It was MASSIVE. I managed to send up a huge cloud of dust, and take all the skin off my knee. This was probably the only crash that Meagan wasn't there for. But Jared and Tim both saw it, and dutifully pissed themselves. So then, when I tried to get up, I realised that I had managed to hook my foot in the strap of my PE bag. So I couldn't move.
