Idasa Tariq (formerly known as "Ground Flow") was born in Binghamton, NY. Now residing in the Steel City (Pittsburgh, PA for y'all under the radar folks), he is ready to put forth his voice in musical form. Since high school, growing up with a Will Smith and Talib Kweli CD in his ear, Hip Hop became more than his first love, but a way of life. From listening to the message and flows of Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Royce Da 5'9" and Will Smith, and the productions of Kanye West, DJ Premier and Eminem, he began to craft his own style which is what you hear today. Mixed with elements from jazz, hip hop, soul and r&b, he is on his way to becoming a young force to reckon with. In an industry where audio porn, lack of creativity and no self respect for one's self is the mainstream liking, he is here to join the ranks of leading the people through music and other endeavors.
In 2009, I.T. released his first project, "Smiling Faces EP", produced entirely by himself and recorded in his home studio. Now working on his upcoming and first album, "Live Strong LP", set to drop Fall 2009. Stay tuned!!!
