Never did like writing about myself but what can I say?Right i will give this a go..... I am a volunteer with the SES and I have been involved with them for about five years now. yeah before you ask folks yes I am one of those insane chaps that dress up in orange and go onto peoples' roof in the middle of the night, in a storm fixing a little roof leak... Sound crazy right? it is! But I do other stuff with SES and specialise in Vertical Rescue and cross train in other areas such as Tracker Dogs, Boats, Searches, Air Observation, Fire Support! the list is endless!I am also a officer with the Australian Army Cadets. I will admit to one thing though, its a whole new ballpark and experience for me. You have to deal with a total different problems with cadets compare to problems you would have to deal with Adults! But I love being involved with cadets, helping and teaching them life skills. Its great watching them grow up and become a confidence Leader! It cannot get any better then that!!Well my real 9-5 job is not as exciting or fullfilling as mentioned above, buts its good money and the people you work with, are pretty kool too! I currently work for the Commonwealth as Client Service Officer and deal with Debt Collection? Fun? not really...
