About Me

Hey! How's it going?

My name's Skylar but my friends just call me Sky. I'm really not in Grosse Ile, Michigan anymore as I've been bought and hey, what's there not to love? More attention, more feed.. but I do miss my buds back at the farm. I was raised on Knapp's Islands Alpacas farm.

Don't mean to brag.. actually, I lie.. but you know every time a person came by to visit the farmer, they always had to remark on how handsome I was. But alas, I'm only attracted to fellow llamas so there's no use. :D

But you know what? It's time to feed and you know what they say! Anything over the fence is fair game!

If you ever want some more information, just check out this website. Get the basics then I'll fill in the rest if need be. But if you really want to please me, you can go out and buy yourself a minature plush llama.

My Interests

I've always been amused with those things that are called fences. Agriculture, books, painting, and oh yes, grooming.

I'd like to meet:

That guy from Maryland who I hear shares the same name as me!, Hemingway, Benjamin Franklin, and oh, those adorers of my kind. C'mon! Who isn't vain? As Benjamin Franklin said, we should be thankful to God for our vanity!

Music:

Unfortunately, I don't listen to music 'cept for the music Nature creates. I would say nothing can beat that!

Movies:

Emperor's New Grove..anything involving my kind! Why, I do rather enjoy movies by Dakota Fanning -- she is one talented lass!

Television:

What's a television? Oh! That thing humans crowd around all the time? I do say it does mesmerize my eyes with its brilliant glow.

Books:

I rather do enjoy reading fine literature of all kinds. Franklin's Autobiography (well, the first part, anyhow) is a witty, smart read. I always find learning about other cultures and hobbies amusing as well. Medieval literature always fascinated me. I mean..chivalry! What a grand idea!

Heroes:

Benjamin Franklin because nobody can be too pragmatic! and of course, anyone intelligent enough to recognize grandeur when they see it!
