After setting up Stuttgart’s first breakbeat-party series in 2004 with the likes of Shut Up And Dance, Ed Solo, Altern 8, Circuit Breaker, Baobinga, Flore, Hardy Hard, Marusha, Boogie Army and many others, the initiators Jay Vee & Piwi aka Jack Stat decided to start their own label Lucky Break Recordings. The goal is as brilliant as it is simple: Lucky Break Recordings wants to provide partytunes making the crowd – and even the deejays – enjoy. The main focus of the label is on breakbeat music in all its varieties, so each release will contain an original track and a remix that takes a different twist. The idea is that Lucky Break Recordings is all about musical diversity, and therefore does not want to feature tracks that sound more or less the same, but each having another way in making people party. In order to fulfil this agenda, the label signed some of the world’s most well-known and best producers for dance music like DJ Fixx (USA), the legends from Shut Up & Dance (UK), DJ Flore (F), Plaza de Funk (UK), Ninelives the Cat (UK), Break The Box (I) and Circuit Breaker (Ger), each of them providing their very own interpretation of what is called breakbeat music. No matter if you prefer funky or rough breaks, booty bass or techno-styled breaks, Lucky Break Recordings will satisfy your wishes.Check out: www.lucky-break.de & www.myspace.com/luckybreakstuttgartVinyl distribution by: Z-Audio (UK); www.zaudio.co.ukPromotion partner: Push Promotion (UK); www.myspace.com/pushpromotion
