Welcome to Sun Safety for Kids. The Sun Show is an original television pilot for Disney TV to be a weekly kids TV series. Written, Co-Produced, and Directed by Chip Miller, whos rock band Old Sand Mill provided the theme song "Too Much Sun". The show also exists on 2 commercialy available DVDs which were also provided to every elementary school in North America. A big hit with children already, The Sun Show has already racked up several prestigious video and educational awards including the 2006 ACCOLADE Award for Best Educational video and Best Director and the 2005 AEGIS Award for Best Director and Best Editing. The show features music from major recording artists such as Brian Wilson, The Butthole Surfers, Justin Timberlake, and The Rascals and over 80 speaking parts. Also highlighted are animation sequences from old school Disney hand animators. Show was shot at the Burbank Studios in Burbank CA as well as at 14 locations around greater Los Angeles. The original music score is composed by Oscar nominee and founder of the String Quartet, Karl Preusser. Show was posted at ModernVideoFilm. The Sun Show was edited by Travis Miller who also produced, and was shot by Bryan Greenberg. Dr. Jeff Ashley and Moshe Barkat Executive Produced. The program was sponsored by Schering-Plough Pharmaceuticals, 3M Pharmaceuticals and Disney TV.
