I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

FINALLY, the Guill-AIR-Mo's have hit the streets :pIn a nut shell, I'm down to earth (so I'm easy to talk and get along with), stable, optimistic, extremely hard working, independent, courteous, family oriented, witty and carry myself with humble confidence. Yes I think highly of myself, but we should all! I'm here to keep in touch with my friends & meet a few new ones. Here's some of the things I enjoy doing:
Here's a video from this year's BP MS150 ride from Houston to Austin, courtesy of Ivan (who's got too much time on his hands :-P hahaha, thanks Dooode! )

My Interests

Marathons/5K/10Ks, riding the bike, hitting them golf balls, tennis, swimming, and overall living a healthy life style. Poker night is always fun. Relaxing at the Nasher Sculpture Center. Thunderstorms rock. Traveling is one of my passions and I have a map of the world in my home office with tacks marking all the places I've been to. Here's a sampling:

Summer 2007 travels: Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Bolivia and Miami

I'd like to meet:

Fun, real, as-close-to-drama-free-as-possible people. Those who I can learn something new from and that appreciate my point of view and learn from it (or at least respect it).

Music:

Groovy music with good lyrics. Alternative/Rock, Country, Pop Latino, de todo un poco. Here's my latest "video" creation! It won't make much sense if you don't understand the lyrics, so ask and I shall translate/explain to ya :-D

Movies:

Forrest Gump, Pulp Fiction, Office Space, Man on Fire, Amores Perros, Dead Poets Society, The Shawshank Redemption, Babel...

Television:

Planet Earth in HD is the greatest! The only live TV I watch are Mavs, Cowboys and Aggie games. The DVR catches some shows to watch during my limited down time.

Books:

A couple of my favorite books: Confessions of an Economic Hit Man, Love in the Time of Cholera, Angels & Demons

Heroes:

Dad...who thought me the meaning of hard work, family and how to be a man.
