****ALL OF THE MUSIC AND DRUMMING ON MY PAGE ARE FROM BANDS I HAVE PLAYED WITH OR ARE CURRENTLY PLAYING WITH****My name is Mike McPhee and i'm a 22 year old aspiring musician/drummer based out of Long Island, N.Y.. I began studying percussion at the age of 8 and have been continuing that journey for the past 13 years of my life. I have been in numerous bands anywhere from Omni-Pop Cover bands to Progressive Rock Bands to Acoustic Trios and everything thing in between. I have played alot in the studio recording cd's for some of my own bands but have done even more work recording numerous amounts of songs for various artists and bands of all styles. Those sessions include and are not limited to:Blues, Funk, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Pop, Singer/Songwriter, Show Tunes, Rock, Progressive Rock. Although my true passion is for playing live, I really enjoy working in the studio as it is a very comfortable and inspiring environment for me. As most musicians would agree playing out gives us a chance to really express ourselves to a LIVE audience and allows us to be truely in the moment. There is something very special created within live music and I am always happy to be apart of that. I am also openly available for work in any style of music as a live performer, studio musician, fill-in, or temporary band member.
