Since the fall of 2006, I've been taking care of bookings for a band I front called Silvergun. I made alot of contacts, and I've helped a number of bands along the way to get shows throughout the Maritimes. With that, I decided to start JJ Bookings to help bands from, and coming to the area get shows. It can be hard visiting areas for the first time, or even returning to get a show booked, so it'll be worth it to have someone do the work for you and pay a fee.
I will also be putting together shows randomly with the best of the upcoming bands in the region, and those visiting from afar. These shows will be mainly in the Halifax area, but also spread throughout the Maritmes. I will book two to four bands for the bill, do all the leg work behind it and collect a small fee from the profit made at the show for doing this work.
