xHopePrevailsx s the remains of a band called Measure Of Consequence. Actually Rob is the only remaining member of measure of consequence, xHopePrevailsx used to be a 5 piece but then our good friends Steve and Tim had life developments that led them away from the band. However, their companionship, influence and talent will be missed in the band. During that time, Rob Logan (who primarily is the song writer) played with Nick, who he met at church. Being a two piece metal band was awkward as we were horribly limited in what we could do but Hope Prevails (bad pun I know). Therefore, our efforts were on recording and writing music. There was a light at the end of the tunnel however, Jared Marshall was picked up on bass. Nick had introduced him to the band. (that was a lame inside joke). Nick also introduced a vocalist that was able to contribute some time and creative efforts to the band, which worked out well for everyone. Now, almost three years later, Hope Prevails has developed from an idea into a reality thanks to the efforts of many friends. Our efforts are now on trying to record before Rob leaves for BU and writing some more songs to make a full length. However, our primary focus has and always will be on serving Christ and blessing others around us. We have decided to change our name to "Third Hour Redemption" because Hope Prevails is a CD name, band name, and record label.
