I am coming from Slovenia. I live and work in a village called Susa in Poljanska Valley. I studied singing with Ileana Bratuz Kacjan for ten years. For many years I was occupied by a cappella singing.I managed to put the poetry of my husband Janez Ramoves, which is full of dark, unusual, but extremely lively occurrences, to completely original music, flirting with chanson, ethnical music and cabaret songs.In 1999, I self-published an album titled Sugar free baby (Sugar Free Baby), which received excellent reviews: »One of the most beautiful voices one can hear in these parts nowadays. It is her voice alone that makes it worth climbing over these hills and valleys« (Miha Mazzini).My second album, Na suncn dan sm se z beciklam pelu (I Was Riding a Bicycle on a Sunny Day; Sanje, 2003), also features mine vocal interpretations of poetry by my life-partner Janez Ramoves, which encapsulates folk themes and is written primarily in the dialect of the Poljanska Valley.In 2006, I recorded a new album, together with mostly vocal band Ursula Ramoves in Fantje z Jazbecove grape (Ursula Ramoves and The Boys from Badger's Gorge), an album that accompanies Janez Ramoves's new poetry book Staroselski ciklus (Cankarjeva zalozba).In 2007, our band Ursula Ramoves in Fantje z Jazbecove grape (Ursula Ramoves and Boys from The Badger's Gorge) released another album Anglcesejne (Sanje). This time singing is also accompanied by accordion and drums, and there are some a capella songs as well. The band is known to have lots of concerts around Slovenija, especially on festivals and in clubs.

“This time we have received a magical performance, a real thundering-loud secret from ancient colonised, silent and god-forsaken places.We rarely get the opportunity to see the 'fluent folklore' in its best. And more, it might be the dialect, which is among the most poetical dialects of Slovenian language, since there are not many uncomfortable encounters with endless harshness of consonants and thus the weeping-one-syllable-over-several-tones.It is also true that the vocals in trio are trained vocals who know where to put the drama in singing so the general understanding won't suffer as well as the over-all impression and the dramatic effect. They are set in an unmoving chorus who doesn't care about the rules of the genre- they hardly uttered a sarcastic word as an introduction but have never the less managed to impress the audience with a great deal of stories, rich ideas...â€
