Assinator sound crew began long before the title was introduced.Steve was known as a jokester, but Steve always had a passion for music. He was always in the house listening to ,watching and taping music videos as a youth, and started thriving upon it at his high school, when he joined the school band as a drummer. That is where it all started.Steve would create 'LIVE' radio show tapes where he would pretend to be a radio personality hosting shows, steve incorparated all kinds of music on these tapes. All his friends would swear after hearing the tapes, they were listening to the radio! Everyone Steve knew saw his talent and pushed him towards a career in deejaying. Steve just wanted to have fun and continue his new found hobby. Steves father, a jamaican native was always cautious with his son, growing up in jamaica he knew the dangers that a music career could present but steve was persistant because his love for reggae music was natural.Steve would travel to music stores on bike just to get the latest new reggae riddims. In 1992 Steve bought his first sysytem and started experimenting with sound effects, and varieties of music, he just couldnt leave the system alone, later that year steve created his first mixtape and named his sound RUDE BOY HIGH FIVE. All his family and friends saw his potiental in this mixtape and everyone wanted a copy! Steve though didnt see his hobby as a talent until he deejayed at a hose party in philly, the crowd went ballistic and hysterical while he mixed and turned the tables.By the time the party was over steve couldnt get the ladies off him and all the guys wanted a high five! Thats when steve took his sound to another level! Creating mixtapes with the hottest songs and effects, that they were forever in demand in the d.c metropolitian area.Steves father supported his son throughout his whole career and in 2006 the unthinkable happened, steves father henry williams passed way from terminal cancer. Without his fathers advice steve almost gave up on music, but with his father bieng a native jamaican the reggae music gave steve strength and hope, the concious vibes filled his soul with memories of his father and his heritage. Steve began creating only reggae mixtapes for production and only made rap mixtapes by request. Now in 2008 steves signitaure mixtapes have surprised him and all around him, every mixtape has riddims only steve believes and feels from the heart, in the d.c area they are a sucess, and he is wanted in every local radio station to complete his dream as a radio deejay. Steve has came a long road and he has went through tribulations but JAH has blessed him and as payback he will never abandon his passion for reggae music. The sound has went through many names but the sound has never changed and will ever continue to rise.BLESS
