Drummer, Jason McGerr (Death Cab for Cutie) needed a place to practice ... What began as an empty warehouse and an informal vision for a personal studio, quickly inflated into a considerable project which resulted in a four-room, fully-equipped professional recording studio with an emphasis on drums.
Located in Seattle's north end, Two Sticks opened in April of 2007 and since its conception has documented many well-known musicians including Grand Archives, Matt Cameron of Pearl Jam, Jaguar Love, Sky Larkin, Fight Like Apes, Dave Bazan, Long Winters, Matt Jorgensen's 451, Smoosh, Moros Eros, Death Cab for Cutie and more.
