As of 10/27/05 I am proud to announce that I accepted the position of manager (president) for disaster recovery for the state of Florida through the Florida Jaycees.
I wanna travel the world, have fun and be free. I grew up in the entertainment industry and that is what I really love doing. I have run sound systems and lighting systems for many bands. Some well known and some that have not been heard of. I wish I had the talent to be on the stage but allas my talent lies behind the scene on the technical side. I have also worked and now own a video production company. I graduated High school working for a television station here in Jax called WTLV 12 where I shot the news. Then I went on to WNFT TV 47 where I was the chief videographer and an editor. I really love running sound for live concerts cause I feed off the rush of all those thousands of people screaming and having a great time. As for the video I love the situations I get placed in and have really gotten to do allot of really cool things most people will never get to do.
On a not business end of things my heart also lies in disaster recovery work. I have been to most all hurricane sites since hurricane Andrew that devastated Miami and Homestead, Fl. We are generally on site and operational within 12 hours of a storm coming through. Our designations are ESF 11 and 15. Now I have a C.E.R.T. and that will also add me under ESF 9. I hate the fact that it takes a disaster to happen to bring people, neighbors and country together like it does, but I love the fact that everyone is then on an equal playing field.
