Money Makerz Entertainment was founded by JeJuan “Juano†Daughety and Justin “J-Rob†Robertson in the summer of 2007. Each shares a love for music and an interest in business. Daughety, a student of music, has been creating beats for many years. Robertson, an aspiring producer as well, has a flair for business. This dynamic duo brought together a group of young, talented individuals for whom success is the only option.
Money Makerz boasts a roster of artists with refreshing rhymes and creativity that is out of this world. Each artist has the creative freedom to tell their own story. Their style ranges from the old-school hip-hop sound to the raw, hardcore rap sound of today. All of their beats are produced by the Bakerz Production team, which consists of Daughety and Money Makerz artist Chris Barz.
Money Makerz Entertainment sets out to create music that is universal, something everyone can relate to. Money Makerz is all about being productive, persistent, and hard-working. It is more than just making money. Money Makerz believes that just leading a productive life is money making.
“Many things can be said, but never done. A money maker says and does it,†says Robertson.
By the end of 2007, Money Makerz completed their first mixtape entitled “Currency Trading Vol. 1.†The mixtape showcases Money Makerz creativity and musical diversity. The mixtape also includes ballads as well as original beats and lyrical content. They are currently working on their second compilation, entitled “Currency Trading Vol. 2,†due out late July 2008.
Money Makerz Entertainment plans to become the most successful independent record label from the Washington, DC Metropolitan area through determination and hardwork. For Money Makerz, life is all about learning, staying humble, and achieving your dreams.
