I'm interested in people whose lives are drastically different from my own. And cartoons.
The Beatles, so I can legitimately say, "Sure I knew them! Man, back then I was known as the fifth Beatle!"
I love it! I listen to all kinds, really. My top five would probably be The Beatles, R.E.M., Yo-Yo Ma, The Cure, and Johnny Cash.
Pan's Labyrinth is AMAZING. I just watched The Descent with Brian and Paul, and it was TERRIFYING. We had to rent it, because I am not allowed to see horror movies in theatres. I have this blood-curdling scream that annoys people and pisses off my friends. But it can't be helped.
Someone recently told me to watch "Gilmore Girls," because it was a smart and witty show, and they thought I'd enjoy it. I hated it. Talking fast is not the same as wit, people. It's just talking fast.
The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, and The Year of the Death of Ricardo Reis by Jose Saramago. Also, Brian and I are embarking upon the greatest literary feat of our lives: we will read EVERYTHING Norman Mailer ever wrote. This includes his grocery lists.
Sarah from The Descent. I don't know what was in that pool of blood, but it made her AWESOME. (I just realized I use the Caps Lock key in excess. SORRY.)
