About Me

Imagine yourself driving somewhere on the freeway. You look upon the scenery as you cruise along. There's nothing but open corn fields and the occasional barn or house. As you drive, you notice a small bar sitting by itself in one of those fields. One or two cars are parked outside, and it's easy to recognize the Pabst neon shining its colors through the window as you zoom past.
It's 8 in the morning. Frustrated with the morning rush hour traffic, you decide to take some side streets to avoid the almost certain gridlock. You begin to carve your way through various neighborhoods, slowly making your way to work. As you make your way through this maze of streets and houses, you come upon a small bar on the corner. As you drive by, you see the "open" sign is on, and a scraggily customer is entering.
You're going to visit some friends who own a house in Cudahy. You get lost as you navigate your way through a residential neighborhood that's riddled with Polish flags and gaudy lawn ornaments. The homes are smaller, with modest income families living in them. Kids are riding their bikes and skateboards in the street, and parents reluctantly do the traditional outdoor chores. You turn the corner and notice one of the houses has a public bar built into it's living room.
We, Dave, Scott and Michael D., are "The Barhoppers". It is these bars that we will be going to in our soon to come video series. Our goal is to find some of the most unique, unknown small bars in existence, and put them on film for the world to see! Wisconsin has a wealth of these taverns, and we want to explore the best of them. That's where we need your help. If there's a bar that you think deserves recognition, send us a message telling us a little about it and what makes it unique. If you've just seen a bar that looks interesting, but never been inside, that's fine too! The smaller and more unknown, the better. Help us explore the very bars that make Wisconsin the drunkest state in the country! (Drink responsibly and use your designated drivers, beeatches!)
