About Me

10 years, and several Nintendo consoles later i started hanging around with my freinds Ben and Rob (both of Epic 45). Bens brother Mat had what was called a tracker (a simple sequencer for making sample based music). Amazed with this new found kit, entitled the ledgendary Octamed, i borrowed it and set about making tunes. We all carried on with the Epic 45 band too, having Radio 1 play, performign on the Big Breakfast and supporting the likes of Do Make Say Think and Muse.
Few years on i revisited my love of the guitar and became immersed in Flamenco culture. Practicing for hours a day and growing the necessary talons needed for both aggressive play and emotive lilt. I studied the techniques of the likes of Paco Pena and De Lucia, but it was Juan Martin and Andres Segovia who had my deepest respect.
After a couple of years the intense practice got too heavy. I feared losing the love for the instrument so i went back to beat production. I was also finding myself playing more and more piano, in an atempt to understand or at very least play the music which i felt held more emotive power than any other. The legacies of Bach, Sor, Mozart etc amazed me. Their knowledge of the rudiments and mathematics within music was astounding. Their abilty to know what chord change or melody would have what desired affect is still humbling.
This brings me up to date. I have set about producing tracks which are for a rapper, singer poet or whatever fits them. They are heavily influenced by my previous loves. Anyone with any interest in performing on or purchasing these beats can message me on here. Preferably with a demo mp3.Aside from that they will be updated everyweek so keep informed and spread the wordwe are going places
