Hi my name is Jane. I am 28 years old. I was born in Spring Valley MN. I was an only child for about 5 years until my brothers came but my brothers past away just as soon as they came. That was really hard for my family that year. But in 1986 my sister was born. It was so cool to have a sister to play with. But in 1987 my mom and dad got a divorse and my mom and sister and I moved to Rochester for about a year and than moved to Stewartville, were I currently am living with my mom. In 1999 I graduated high school and moved to Las Vegas NV. for a while with a ex boyfriend. That was short lived and I moved back to Stewartville. And in 2005 I moved in with another boyfriend and was back to Stewartville in 2007. We broke up but still hung out alot. But in Januaray 2007 I found out I was pregnant. I was scared, happy, and overwhelmed all at the same time. Because I was back at home with my mom and the boyfriend left me. I continuted to work down at the Racine Travel Plaza full time. It was a very hars summer for me. The Ex wouldn't talk to me and I was very pregnant and it was hot. So the first week in August my Dr. took me off of work because I gained 40lbs in water weight in less than a week. And he said that wasn't very good for me and the baby. So the whole month of August I got ready for him to come. I was due on August 24th. Nothing started happening until the 27th. That morning I got up and went to Wal-Mart and everything was going good. At 2:00 finally something started happening. I finally went to the hospital at 5:00am on the 28th. My mom and my sister and my good friend Darci came to the hospital and kinda took shifts trying to comfort me, but nothing was working. My mom was there the whole time. Darci was the until it got to hard for her to see me in that much pain, and my sister was there for the last half and she cheered me on.I pushed for 8 hours and nothing happened. I was so tired I finally said take him out now. And after 42 (painful and exhusting) hours, I finally gave birth(by C-Section) to a 8lbs 13oz healthy baby boy!!! Because I pushed so hard and so long he had a little bit of a conehead. But he had a ton of hair. It was totally strawberry blonde. He has big blue eyes. And I know all babies are born with blue eyes but he still has his. I didn't get to hold him right away but I kissed him and told him I loved him. I was in recovery for an hour and it was the longest hour of my life. I just wanted to see my son. I got back to the room and they had giving him a bath and wrapped him up again. I was so happy to hold him and so tired. But I breastfed him and we both went to sleep. The first day I only had one person come and see me. But on Friday I alot of people come and see us. Than on Saturday I came home. The hospital wanted me to stay until Sunday and I said no way I want to go home. The next three months were kinda hard and I am glad that I had my mom to help me but he was kinda colicy and it was only at night that he was that way. But he slept almost all night long and still does. But anyways, I am a stay at home mommy and I am loving every minute of it. Wendesday he was 8 months old and has 3 teeth and is learning how to crawl and he also started pulling himself up in his crib. I wish sometimes that he was still a little baby but I love watching him grow up too. I am hoping that this fall that I go back to school to be a nurse. We will see what happens. Now it about 2 months since I last wrote and I want to let you all know what is going on. Ethan is 10 months old now and very active. In 3 weeks he learned how to pull himself up to a stand, crawl, and stand all be himself. He only has 4 teeth and sometimes I think that is all he is going to have. I got Ethan and myself a 12 foot pool this summer and it seems like he always wants to be in it. We will be fencing the yard so it is safe for him to play in. I will be painting our rooms and I can't wait to be done with that. We had a great forth of July. He loved it. He watched the parade and was very interested it that. He fell asleep before the fireworks but he slept right through them. I could not ask for a better baby. He still takes 2 naps a day and is in bed by 9 most nights. I am so glad to be a mommy. I have waited so long for this and now I have it and love every waking second of it.( For the most part). Wow it has been about 4 months since I have wrote so here it goes. Ethan is 14 months now and climbing over and on top of everything. He had a great 1st birthday. Has you can tell in the photos I have loaded. I have hand surgery back in September. And boy my hand still hurts. And I have to have the other one done in January. Than in October I went to Mayo Clinic and have been approved to have bypass surgery in 4 to 6 months. That will be a whole different life change for me. I am kinda scared but I need to be heathy for my son and for myself. This is going to be hard and I hope everyone will be there for me if and when I need you guys. But anywaysback to Ethan. He is very heathly and happy. You couldn't ask for a better little boy. But I am sure that every mother says that about there children. He also runs everywhere. He is always on the go. He keeps me on my toes. He had his first hair cut when he was 13 months old and his hair grows so fast. This Thanksgiving I will be cooking most of the meal and it might be the last good meal I can cook. And I forgot to tell ya that Ethan has 13 teeth now. I will keep you guys informed. I know it has been awhile since I last wrote in here but Ethan is 20 months now and growing like a weed and I can't believe how much he looks like me. That is a good thing. LOL. He loves being outside and playing basketball and throwing the ball around. He also has alot of fun playing on his new swing and slide. I have decided to have the lap band done instead of gastric bypass. I will keep you informed.
