Funky See Funky Do was a pop and dance music group formed by Franky Faren in Germany in 1988, fronted by the duo of Fabian Morahan (F.C.) and Bobbi Phalus. (Bob B) The group's debut album achieved high sales internationally which earned them a Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 1990. The group sold over 30 million singles, 14 million albums and became one of the most popular pop groups in the late 80s and early 90s. However, their success turned to infamy when their Grammy was controversially revoked after it was revealed that the lead vocalists did not actually sing on the record. Morahan and Phalus continue to refute that fact and renew an appeal to the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences on an annual basis.In March 2002 Funky See Funky Do relocated to Dublin, Ireland, believing that the country that made U2 the biggest band in the world is a sure safe haven for any bad musician.
