Callum Buchanan is a young upcoming producer heading from the Isle Of Man, having only just turned 18, he is impressing the likes of Sander Van Doorn, Luke Terry, Der Mystik, Gabriel Batz, T4L, D Ramirez and Leonid Rudenko with his magic.Having got into music at the early age of 13, he soon realized thanks to his brothers Neill & Ruari, what direction he would go in, although there styles are probably inaudible in his music, BT, Robert Miles, and Faithless as well as other classics dance artists are a huge influence and have remained permanent idols.Having the family trait of being able to use computers well, Callum took this to his advantage and got into computer DJ'ing, Traktor and Virtual DJ really helped him see into the arrangement of tracks, tuning his ears to what sounds good and learning to recognize trends. This wasn't enough, with the amazing support of his brother Ruari, he invested in turntables and a DJ course for Callum, this was a key moment of Callum's life, as from this point he would go on to discover that his passion laid in what made those tracks so good for him.Somehow coming across Fruity Loops, he immediately started putting together basic tracks, learning grooves and sounds, finding out how much work goes into producing a tune, as well as basic mixing techniques.After Callum finished his academic education which he did not enjoy, he started a sound engineering course. At 18, and already in the second year of the course, he has built up his ears and mixing capabilities to a reasonable extent, still improving and building on finance for his studio. We will see some seriously crazy and bumpin' tunes no matter what style and hybrid of dance music coming out of this youngster over the future!Callum B's first release to break through will be his hybrid electro remix of Colombia. :)Great regards and be real!
