The Eastern Haunters Convention was formerly known as the Mechanicsburg Haunters Gathering or the PA Haunters Gathering. In 2008, we have morphed into a full blown, weekend long convention with over 40 vendors, and 15 seminars including Ricky Dick of Castle Blood, John Burton and Larry Kirchner of HauntWorld Magazine!!!! We also have the amazing Cajun and Mardi Gras themed CADAVER'S COTILLION!!!! Free food and alcohol and a ROCKING undead costume ball!
And don't forget about the make-up war and the ghost hunt of the White Horse Tavern as well as THE BEST HAUNTED ATTRACTION TOUR!!!!!
Eastern State Penitentiary Terror Behind the Walls, a multi-haunt presenting: - Intake - An indoor/outdoor haunted attraction with theming based on the prisoner processing experience. - Lock Down - This haunt is located in the three-story Cellblock 12 built in 1911, and is themed as an electrified prison cellblock. - 13 Rooms - The theming revolves around various work in a prison, such as the mess hall, laundry room, and morgue. - The Experiment (in 3-D!) - A 3-D haunted house, based on the idea of a "prison doctor's," experiment gone wrong. - Night Watch - a haunted house where the only lighting is provided by flashlights carried by guests.
