ENGLISH BIO
Restricted collective was born the 4th quarter of 2007, formed by Andrés Alías, Sergio Barbero & Victor Prieto.
They found at 90’s their nature musically speaking feeling the beats of EBM, Synth-Pop and Acid House. Few years later their musical instincts derived to more rythmics & melodics sounds such as Progressive, Trance, Techno Trance and Hard Trance.
Their chance to join the djs scene comes starting 21th century, this is what makes them vinyl-dependant forever.
They get inspired by Trance professional deejays such as M.I.K.E. (Push), Ferry Corsten, Paul Van Dyk or Corsten/Tiësto (ex-Gouryella), among others…
While Sergio Barbero continues to devote much of his sets to Trance and Techno Trance (also introducing some Progressive House), Andres Alias finds a great motivation in the Electro sound, with artists such as Cirez D or Tiga among others, developing High-quality music sets for the former time, and even, making him involved in some parallel projects of his career.
On the other hand were Victor Prieto, devoting 75% of his suitcases to the “father style” in terms of electronic music we can refer ... The Techno. He was a great amateur to develop sets of both the best dark Trance to the stronger Techno than by then edited many of the local artists. This hobby for the Techno music has led him to develop sets using 3 and up to 4 dub plates, thereby achieving a refined technique in the cabin.
In 2005, These three parents met thanks to third party friends and thanks to Trance music due to a respected club in Madrid where best trance deejays took place.
Guiding their carrers separatly, year 2007 arrive and the collective take place thanks to Budha Advanced Music Club.
After a trial period, Andres Alías & Sergio Barbero reach a place every Saturday night at Budha Club, obtaining a recoignized skills and having more events along the year.
At the same time, Victor Prieto usually makes long live sets (up to 5 hours) almost alone at Budha Club every Thursday and Friday.
Little by little, the Minimal Sounds become interesting for the integer members, increasing style diversity in their suitcases and making a very selected sounds not suitables for all people.
Thanks to the quality involved in their sets, they create a bimensual session named “Restricted”, developed in Budha Club, bring us the best advanced music experiences at night in Madrid.
Restricted has born to provide people the best of their members, keeping in mind their origins.

El colectivo Restricted nace a finales del año 2007, de la formación de sus 3 componentes: Andrés Alías, Sergio Barbero y Victor Prieto.
La verdadera motivación por la música electrónica, allá por la década de los 90, la encontraban en estilos como el EBM, Synth-Pop o Acid House. Posteriormente, rozando finales de la década, sus tendencias musicales empiezan a derivar hacia estilos más rítmicos y melódicos, como el Progressive, Progressive Trance, Techno Trance, Hard Trance... o en su defecto, el Trance.
No es hasta principios del siglo XXI cuando les llega la oportunidad de tener contacto con unos platos, lo cual les dejará enganchados a este mundo por siempre.
Los 3 centran su atención en discos de artistas de renombre de la escena Trance, como pueden ser M.I.K.E. (Push), Ferry Corsten, Paul Van Dyk, o los ya disueltos Gouryella (Corsten + Tiësto), entre muchos otros.
Mientras Sergio Barbero continúa dedicando buena parte de sus sets al Trance y al Techno Trance (introduciendo también algo de Progressive House), Andrés Alías encuentra una gran motivación en el sonido Electro, con artistas como pueden ser Cirez D o Tiga entre otros, desarrollando sets de gran calidad musical para la época, e incluso, haciéndole participe en varios proyectos paralelos de su carrera.
Por otro lado encontrábamos a Victor Prieto, dedicando el 75% de sus maletas al estilo padre en cuanto a música electrónica nos podamos referir... el Techno. Era un gran aficionado a realizar sets tanto de el mejor Trance oscuro, hasta el Techno más contundente que por entonces editaban muchos de los artistas nacionales. Esta gran afición por el Techno le ha llevado a conseguir desarrollar sets con 3 y hasta 4 platos, consiguiendo con ello una depurada técnica en cabina.
No es hasta 2005 que estos 3 compañeros se conocen gracias a amigos comunes, y gracias al Trance, sin duda, ya que por la época, una conocida sala madrileña se dedicaba a organizar eventos con grandes artistas de este aclamado estilo.
Encauzando cada uno su carrera en solitario llega el año 2007, y con ello, la culminación del colectivo, entre otras cosas, gracias a Budha Advanced Music Club.
Andrés Alías y Sergio Barbero consiguen, después de repetidos días de prueba, hacerse hueco en la apretada agenda de Budha Club para ocupar un Sábado noche, teniendo buena aceptación y repitiéndo en varias fiestas organizadas de ese mismo año.
Paralelamente, Victor Prieto realiza sets frecuentemente en Budha Club, Jueves y Viernes, ocupando él la totalidad de las horas en cabina, desarrollando así sets de hasta 5 horas.
Poco a poco, el sonido más Minimal empieza a hacer mella en los integrantes, por lo que empieza a hacerse hueco dentro de sus maletas, descubriendo así un gran abánico de subestilos, los cuales denotarán en gran parte al colectivo, siguiendo una línea de gran riqueza musical no apto para todos los oídos.
Gracias a la calidad ofrecida en sus sesiones, crean la sesión bimensual "Restricted", desarrollada en Budha Club, ofreciéndonos noches en Madrid de música avanzada irrepetibles.
Restricted nace para dar lo mejor de los gustos musicales de sus 3 integrantes, sin nunca dejar de lado sus auténticas raíces.
