About Me

Myspace Layouts at Pimp-My-Profile.com / Tropical Beach

I grew up in Columbus, Indiana and picked up a guitar when I was about 14 or 15, taught myself to play, and began learning cover songs and writing my own. After graduating from college I joined the Navy and ended up staying in for 20 years, but I never lost my interest in playing guitar, so I continued to learn songs and played in bands for fun on and off throughout the years. Three and half years ago I moved to SW Florida and started going out to tiki bars and listening to live music. I thought to myself, now I can do that, so about 2 years ago I got my songs together, bought some equipment, and went out looking for gigs. I've been performing ever since and have been doing shows regularly in Fort Myers Beach, Cape Coral, Pine Island, St James City, and Key West, Florida. I like to write songs about living in Florida and my music is considered "trop rock" because it's a mix of rock, country, reggae, and americana, all with a tropical, laid back feel to it.
